Medaille d'Or 1925 Natural Tanned Leather Insoles - Saphir

Medaille d'Or 1925 Natural Tanned Leather Insoles - Saphir

These insoles from Saphir Médaille d'Or are crafted using a traditional vegetable tanning and made with natural tannins from bark, resin, oak, and birch—designed to offer maximum comfort and breathability while preserving a natural look and feel.

Ideal for improving the fit of slightly roomy shoes, they can compensate for up to half a size in difference.

Vegetable tanning is an ancient technique dating back to Old Egypt and is used to transform raw hides into the supple, resistant and imperishable product now know as leather. The tanning process consists of dipping the hides in vats containing extracts from the bark of willow, oak, mimosa, birch and other resinous trees as well as exotic woods which give the leather antibacterial qualities. The finished product has a vibrant appearance and emits the unique aroma of real leather.

Saphir's Médaille d'Or (Gold Medal) collection is a top-tier, high-end line formulated for superior nourishment and shine, originating from products that won a gold medal in Paris in 1925.
